Day 88: 6/20/2021

Happy Father’s Day! We left camp early this morning eager to reach Sierra City. We hiked up and down for a few miles before descending a few thousand feet.

We passed the North Yuba River. There were some pretty cool rock formations and caves that could be seen partly underwater.

Shortly afterwards, we hiked the mile and a half road walk into town. We saw some signs that we were closer to leaving California!

We’re staying the night in town and will be back on trail tomorrow!

I really enjoy reading your blog and seeing your photos! You’re capturing the trail in a way that I have not seen on any blogs or vlogs anywhere! It’s like I’m there. Thanks for sharing
