We got an early start eager to hike our first longer day after dropping our winter gear and bear canister.
The terrain was pretty gentle as we climbed up and down hills and across ridgelines.
We also passed through several nice meadows.
We are still coming across some snow patches here and there, despite the mild temperatures.
Though much of the snow had receded from the trail, so we had that going for us which is nice.
We cruised into camp a little early after an 18 mile day.
It’s the middle of June and you guys are seeing lots of snow! Wild!
