Day 25 4/18/2021

The first half of the day was spent hiking through Deep Creek Canyon.

At one point we crossed over it on a curved wooden bridge.

There were a lot of lizards laying out in the sun. This one was really colorful.

Eventually, the canyon opened up and let us out near the Mojave River Forks Dam.

The dam outlet was huge, the little speck in the middle is actually me (Sean)!

We crossed Deep Creek near the spillway for the dam.

In the afternoon the hills were covered with bright yellow, flowering bushes. They stood out in contrast to the fire damage.

The trail led us around the edge of Silverwood Lake where we camped for the night.
