Day 24: 4/17/21

We left Little Bear Springs Camp around 7:30am this morning. We had to take some extra time to clean the frost off of our tent! The morning miles were mostly sandy and rocky.

This little guy posed for a picture!

We thought the pine cones on trail were pretty big, but today we encountered the largest pine cones yet!

Eventually, we hiked to Deep Creek Bridge.

Throughout the afternoon there was a lot more brush and wildflowers. Sometimes, we were able to view Deep Creek again.

We also passed the 300 mile mark today!

After several miles we decided to call it a day and cowboy camped by a stream. We’ve hiked close to 20 miles a few times, but today we set a new record for our PCT hike with 20.5 miles!
