We spent two days in Redding making arrangements for me to travel back to Ohio and replacing some of our shared gear, so Amy could continue hiking.

On the night of the 4th, we heard fireworks and stepped out of our motel room to a great view of the local fireworks show!

It’s been a rough few days coming to terms with everything happening back home, leaving Amy behind and also ending what has been an incredible adventure.

But for now, I’ll live vicariously through the pictures Amy sends and posts for the blog!
