Stayed in Damascus for another day.  We all had to go to REI to exchange gear. I swapped out my shoes.

Went with Altra, Lone Peaks 3.0. Hopefully these give me more miles than the Brooks Cascadias. And they have a cool footprint!

After getting back, Seeker brought out some .22s and we did some more shooting

To finish off the day, we all went into town to pay trivia.  Took a third place finish out of about 10 trams. Not bad for a team of hikers!

Going to hit the trail on Wednesday and shoot for big miles after the second day off.
