Today started off great,  we got a hitch out of Andover back to the trail and found a ziploc bag with blueberry pancakes sitting on the AT signpost.

We had a relatively easy 1500ft climb to start the day. It brought us past several Alpine Ponds.

The trail then dove up and down steeply several times wearing us out by midday. There were some good view points though.

At end of the day, Naked Savage and his family showed up with trail magic! I hiked with him from day two until Franklin at the beginning of the trip. He had to get off the trail with injuries to his knees, but is doing better now.

We had a great time catching up. It was a great end to a rough day.
