Had an 18 mile day into Monson, Maine. The last town before the One Hundred Mile Wilderness.

The trail was pretty flat with some rolling hills as it followed the Piscataquis river most of the day.

We had to ford the river several times throughout the day.  There were ropes tied across for balance in high water,  but it was only knee deep at most.

One crossing had logs and rocks that we used to carefully pick our way across.

We made it in to Monson in the afternoon and stayed at the Lakeshore House Hostel.

Going to take a zero day tomorrow to resupply and plan out the final leg of the AT.
