Day 93 6/25/2021

We took our first day off since Mammoth Lakes a month ago to resupply and repair some gear in town.

We also needed to rest. We hadn’t been sleeping well on trail due to a leaky air mattress. When we finally woke up this morning, we realized we had been asleep for nearly 12 hours!

With no laundry at the motel, we washed our clothes in the bathtub. It took several “rinse cycles” to get the water to run clean!

We’ll be rested, fed, clean(ish) and back on the trail tomorrow!

Love it Amy and Sean! Keep up the great work.

Nice haircut, Sean! Heading to your house tomorrow with all the weights.
Keep us posted if you need anything. Meanwhile, stay safe and stay hydrated. Love you guys.

      Thanks!

Enjoyed seeing you yesterday! My drive home with convertible top down was divine. Splash and Mini-Splash made it to Belden today. They had to backtrack on campsite last night; too many bumblebees (!) and ants! From the pics they sent, it looks like they had a fabulous Father/Daughter belated Father’s Day time together. Hope you got your equipment squared away! Happy Trails! Cheers!

Good to see you again! We saw Splashes name on the midpoint marker today. Glad he is in front of us and didn’t have to worry about the wildfire in Belden!
