Day 23: 4/16

by | Apr 22, 2021 | Pacific Crest Trail | 1 comment

We got a ride back to the trail from the hostel and made good mileage in the morning. The weather was cool, and the terrain was pretty mild. We passed through several sections of burned forest.

The trail led us along a ridgeline with great views looking back at Big Bear. We actually hiked directly across the lake from our hostel.

After veering away from the ridge, we hiked back up into some beautiful pine tree stretches.

We made it to camp a couple of hours before sunset with enough time to set up camp, cook and rest after another 19+mile day.
