Woke up early so we could make to the Kennebec river ferry before it stopped running for the day.

The terrain was pretty easy. My knee felt stronger and didn’t hurt as bad road. It wound around several mountain ponds.

We made it to the river crossing by noon, in time to catch the Canoe ferry across and avoid a long dangerous ford.

The canoe guy paddled over and and Spice and I hopped in.  The river was flowing fast so I had to help paddle from the front.

We stopped for the night at Pleasant Pond shelter and went swimming for a bit.
