Today was a short day, roughly 13 miles into Harpers Ferry, the unofficial halfway point on the trail.

The trail into town was pretty rocky at points,  but not too steep.

I worked my way down to the Potomac and crossed on a large bridge.

I worked my way up to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and signed in the log book that is used to track thru hiker numbers.

I am taking a couple zero days and will be back on the trail Sunday.
