Had breakfast at the Mohican Outdoor Center before hitting the trail.  It was misting as I left  and would rain off and on all day.

I passed plenty of places that probably had great views on a sunny day.

The trail was pretty nice for the most part.

Late in the day,  I saw a tavern listed on the guide, near the trail so I popped in for dinner.

After dinner it was back to the trail. Even though it was getting late,  I decided to push for the top of Sunrise Mountain. I had about an hour of light left before I had to switch to my headlamp.

I made it up there around 9pm and stealth camped in the stone pavilion on top. With a strong breeze blowing a wet misty fog, I set my tarp up on a bench to block the wind. Then I settled in for a long, wet and cold night
