After doing some more damage to the hotels all you can eat breakfast, I headed back out on the trail. It started as a nice day, full of greenery (still can’t get over how fast the forest turned!)

But within the first hour, rain and fog rolled in and would stay all day.

Early in the afternoon, there were orange lizards all over the trail.

The trail went through several look out points that people could drive to and park. With all the fog, You couldn’t see anything though.

Eventually I made it to my camping spot for the night and got settled in. 22 miles the first day after a resupply is a long day!

It’s in the 40s and raining, but the high tomorrow is in the 80s. I just hope the rain holds off.
