Hit the trail with Peacewalker right about sunrise. Had a pretty easy walk to start the day.  Gradually sloping trails as we walked towards Bland.

A little before 9am we found a sign on the side of the trail…Trail Magic!

It was all the motivation we needed to hurry up the trail.

A former thru hiker, Pigeon Toe, had just stayed up his spread. On a table under a canopy was pop tarts, chips, cookies. Oatmeal packs, crackers and all kinds of other goodies.  There was also a cooler of Gatorade, pop and beer!

After enjoying the spread for a while, we hit the trail again and hiked out to Jenny Knob shelter for the night.

Just before dark, a thru hiker named Wildabeast showed up. He had packed way too much food and started cooking for us.  We had sliced, smoked summer sausage cooked in a jet boil!

We went sleep, hoping the forecasted rain would be finished before the next morning.
